Phelan Green to produce electro-sustainable aviation fuel at Saldanha Bay

Energy company Phelan Green, through its clean fuels subsidiary Phelan eFuels, has selected industrial technology manufacturer Honeywell’s renewable fuel process technology for its planned electro-sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF) facility in Saldanha Bay, in the Western Cape. Specifically, Phelan eFuels will deploy the Honeywell Universal Oil Products Fischer Tropsch (FT) Unicracking process technology, which uses FT liquids and waxes made from CO2 to create eSAF that complies with aviation industry standards.
