MK Party removes Treasurer-General and Chief Whip

The MK Party has removed its Treasurer-General Mpiyakhe Limba and Chief Whip Colleen Makhubele.
The party has removed Limba and replaced him with Brian Molefe, who is also a Member of Parliament.
In the National Assembly, Makhubele was removed as Chief Whip with immediate effect after a few months in office.
Mmabatho Mokoena-Zondi, a member of the NCOP, has been appointed as acting Chief Whip.
In another development, MK Party Chief of Staff Vanessa Calvert’s suspension has been lifted after she had faced allegations of financial irregularities.
