The uMkhonto weSizwe Party president, Jacob Zuma, is expected to brief the media in Pretoria on Wednesday afternoon.
This follows his engagements with representatives of Venezuela.
Zuma’s briefing will be held at the Venezuelan embassy alongside Venezuela’s ambassador to South Africa, Carlos Feo Acevedo.
The briefing comes after US forces abducted Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores.
